Canadians celebrate Canada Day every year, but this year will be extra special because we will be able to celebrate it together! The Winnipeg Chinese Senior Association (WCSA) is organizing Canada Day celebrations which will be held at the fountain and park area in Bridgwater Lakes. WCSA has hosted many events over the past five years, and we are partnering with elected officials and many organizations to make this a wonderful Canada Day celebration.

You will see on the poster that the celebrations will feature multicultural entertainment, bouncy castles, many children’s activities, birthday cakes, bazaar tables, a petting zoo (located on the school land) and many more!

The celebration will start at 11:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM on July 1.

Right now, We are still looking for food trucks and renting a spot to sell or display your products at the Canada Day celebration. Please contact us at wcsa.wpg@hotmail.com if you are interested to sell your products.

At the same time, WCSA is happy to coordinate the Sixth Annual Canada Day Drumming in Winnipeg, which will integrate the Canada Day Drumming with our community celebration for the Canada Day in Bridgwater Fountain. We plan to provide a number of drums for the residents in the community to drum and celebrate together for 2022 Canada Day with the groups of participants nationally and internationally!
